In a professional capacity, she has successfully managed extensive large-scale, mixed-method projects, including the survey element of the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government’s Troubled Families Programme evaluation, and the collaboration with the National Children’s Bureau for University College London, exploring the meaning of ‘research’ to children and parents, which helped shape the processes and protocols for UCL’s Millennium Cohort Study.

In consumer research, she has considerable experience managing end-to-end, multi-market and market segmentation studies for clients such as PepsiCo, Mondelez, Diageo and Mars. These studies largely focused on concept, product and pack testing to support the launch of new lines and line extensions. Tamsin particularly enjoys desiging quantitative and qualitative questionnaires that address clients’ questions and objectives and developing actionable insights from data. She specialises in conducting research with children and young people. Outside of work, Tamsin can usually be found running around after her own children, playing and coaching hockey, baking, or attempting to chill out on the yoga mat.
