Air quality affects everyone who visits, lives and work in urban areas. Compliance with air quality targets can require a wide range of actions, with Clean Air Zones (CAZ) being the Government’s preferred option for improving air quality in the shortest possible time.
Our Clean Air Zone market research team form part of our wider transport and local government teams and work with local governments and technical engineering specialists to support consultation and engagement around Clean Air Zone (CAZ) proposals and their implementation.
This includes initial engagement surveys to understand travel modes and frequencies, awareness of environmental issues and the impact of poor air quality, and formal consultations for proposals to introduce Clean Air Zones.
We can offer a range of approaches depending on the audience to be engaged.
Previous work on Clean Air Zones has included engaging with residents and the general public, taxi drivers and operators and local businesses – all of which are impacted by air quality and actions to improve air quality. We have the in-house resources and range of methodologies to ensure all voices are heard and all stakeholders are consulted.
