Angela Parton, Telephone Unit Manager

Joining M·E·L Research in November 2020, Angela initially took on the role of a telephone interviewer for the PHE Test & Trace project amidst the Covid pandemic. By May 2021, her leadership skills led to her overseeing a team of 30 telephone interviewers, demonstrating her management and leadership ability.

Prior to social research, Angela brings a rich background in property management to her role at M·E·L Research, where she has applied her 24 years of experience in leading teams and driving business success throughout the UK. With a strong emphasis on staff training and personal development, Angela has consistently worked to ensure her teams not only meet but exceed their objectives. Angela’s decision to retire from the property sector and fully commit to her role at M·E·L Research reflects her alignment with the company’s ethos and its commitment to societal impact. This move underscored her desire to contribute to meaningful projects that have a real impact on society.

Outside of work, Angela has a variety of interests that include photography, drawing, and walking her Chocolate Labrador. She also engages with complex topics such as quantum physics, indicating a wide range of personal and intellectual pursuits.

Angela’s journey through her career and her contribution to M·E·L Research highlight her adaptability, leadership, and commitment to both personal and professional development.
