In the spring of 2013, M·E·L Research was commissioned by Wychavon District Council to provide research support to assist in the decision making process when the 2014/15 (and beyond) budget was set. The Council conducted an in-house consultation and engagement exercise utilising both online surveys and paper-based questionnaires to gather views from both residents and businesses.

M·E·L Research was commissioned by Staffordshire County Council’s Public Health Team in 2014 to evaluate a one year Integrated Lifestyle Service Pilot, commissioned by Public Health and delivered by a Third Sector organisation in two of Staffordshire’s Districts. The main aims of the evaluation were to inform future potential roll-out of the integrated lifestyle service approach and to inform future Public Health commissioning.

The main outputs were to quantify the impact of advice provided by the Energy Saving Trust in terms of carbon dioxide equivalent emissions savings and commitment to recycling.
