M·E·L Research are pleased to announce the promotion of Bronwyn Vermaat to Senior Research Manager.
Commenting on the promotion, Steve Handley, Quantitative Research Director said:
“Bronwyn joined us just over a year ago and has been a fantastic addition to the team – managing large scale projects for Birmingham 2022, Kick it Out, UNBOXED and the Office of Rail and Road as well as making a major contribution to our on-going delivery of employee experience and local government research. She is a curious and passionate researcher and we look forward to supporting her further development at M·E·L. Well done Bronwyn!”
Prior to joining M·E·L in early 2022, Vermaat worked at a specialist agency where she supported on, and later managed, projects in the technology sector. At M·E·L she has worked across a range of sectors oriented around social purpose, including large scale cultural activations, tracking research to understand the experience of passengers and customers with accessibility needs, the experiences of LGBTQIA+ audiences and their use of dating apps, as well as multiple projects focussing on discrimination across a range of protected characteristics – for instance for Kick it Out and Co-POWeR.

Moving forward Bronwyn will increasingly support M·E·L Research’s ambitious growth plans, including utilising her experience in the technology sector to expand the agency’s work with tech-for-good clients, for instance in aerospace, app design and technology infrastructure and AI.
