NSPCC is the UK’s leading children’s charity. The NSPCC Professionals Brand Tracking survey and sampling were completely redesigned for 2021 by M·E·L Research. We developed a new approach to sampling, a new survey with new questions and conducted fieldwork in a new period.
800 professionals in a dedicated safeguarding role, using an innovative panel database approach. The survey was 20 minutes in length.
NSPCC is incredibly well regarded and trusted by all Professionals. Its saliency and its size are a core strength. 9 in 10 Professionals believe it is a vital part of the sector and makes a difference (particularly at a national level). It is seen as helpful, passionate and trustworthy. While big brands and organisations can often be seen as overly focused on their own agenda, the good news for NSPCC, is that relative to other charities, this is not something that is strongly associated.
However, we were also able to identify several areas for growth to generate stronger uptake and provided a range of recommendations to take forward including providing NSPCC with specific sectors identified to move in to, to raise their profile and usage/uptake.
