We believe in delivering social value across a range of different approaches, both through direct support (for instance our Charity Partner initiative) as well as through empowering our team to utilise their skills in volunteering and trustee or mentoring schemes.
We believe in empowering our people to make a positive difference, using their passion, curiosity and skills in listening, to better understand people and society.
However, we recognise that we can do far more when we work together with other organisations and share our experience and expertise. As such, we are proud to provide our pro-bono omnibus research twice annually.
How it works
We deliver our omnibus twice annually, usually in around April and October. The survey is fielded to a representative sample of 1500 adults by age and gender across the UK.
M·E·L Research Ltd can assist with question design and fielding the survey, and partners receive a set of tabulated data as an output. We typically offer around 3-5 questions per partner on each omnibus and multiple partners can be accomodated on each wave. Inclusion in one wave of the omnibus does not preclude or guarantee inclusion in future waves.
To take part, your organisation and questions must meet the following criteria:
- Be focussed around an aspect of social good or be able to demonstrate how the findings will clearly support social good
- Commit to sharing the findings in a report/webinar/articles etc – e.g. the survey questions must be shared publicly for wider consumption (on discussion and agreement, a small number of questions may be held back, e.g. commercially sensitive questions such as brand awareness)
- Clearly cite M·E·L Research Ltd as the source of the data
- Be willing to allow M·E·L Research Ltd to share the findings – e.g. through promoting any reports or articles you produce off the back of it or via our own channels. If you do not share agreed findings in a timely manner, we reserve the right to do so.
Take Part
If you are interested in partnering on our Omnibus please get in touch directly with Beth Harcourt.
Please make sure you cover the following within your email:
- A brief summary of your organisation
- A suggested topic, why this is important and some ideas for potential questions
- What you can bring in terms of ensuring the findings are shared widely
- Any previous examples of research / related activites this would build on
You can see the results of one of our long-term, on-going collaborations here.
