The Health Services Research UK conference is taking place at the University of Manchester and aims to promote health service policies and practices by offering those in the industry the opportunity to hear about the latest research, build networks and meet the agenda setters.
We will be presenting a poster on our recently completed evaluation of the Macmillan Integrated Therapy Service (MITS) that provides Physiotherapy, Speech and Language, OT and Dietetics to cancer patients at Shrewsbury and Telford NHS Trust.
The evaluation comprised a robust and independent assessment of whether MITS delivered as expected. We assessed the impacts and outcomes from the service, and the difference it made. Our aim was to provide evidence and identify key lessons to help the service improve patients’ lives as far as possible. You can read more about our approach to the evaluation here.
Tim led the evaluation and will be presenting the key strategies and outcomes of the evaluation, so if you would like to hear more then he would be delighted to see you at the conference.
Alternatively please get in touch with a member of our team on 0121 604 4664 if you have a similar project that you would like to discuss.
