Research Director - Qualitative Research

£50-60k
Deadline: 20th July 2022

M·E·L Research is a social research agency, with a strong social ethos. Our vision is to make a positive difference to organisations, employees, customers, and wider society. We commit to giving 5% of our net profit as a minimum each year to charity, pay the real living wage, and actively deliver social value within – as well as a result of – our projects.

With plans for continued growth, we are looking to appoint a talented Research Director, with a strong focus on qualitative research to lead the development of our Qualitative Research team. You will be passionate about qualitative research, have a strong desire for your work to make a difference to clients and wider society and your values should align to ours.

We are looking for someone with a proven track record of writing great bids, managing accounts and delivering excellent projects, using a variety of different qualitative techniques, including online methods. You will ideally already work in one of our sectors, either with public services or third sector clients, in areas such as health and wellbeing, transport, arts and culture, environment and sustainability, and be able to hit the ground running.

You will play a senior role in a passionate organisation, with a long term commitment to growing our qualitative offering, with full support from the Board of Directors and our new Senior Management Team. Hybrid working, with the majority of your week working from home, and a good reward package, will be available for the successful candidate.
